NDIS

The NDIS & Your Eligibility

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded program that provides support for Australians with permanent and significant disabilities. It helps participants access the services, equipment, and resources they need to improve their quality of life, build independence, and actively engage with their communities. The NDIS is all about giving people choice and control over the supports they receive.

Am I Eligible for the NDIS?

To access the NDIS, you need to meet certain eligibility requirements. You may qualify if you:

  • Are under the age of 65 when applying.
  • Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa.
  • Have a permanent or significant disability that affects your daily life.
  • Require support to participate in everyday activities or build independence.

If you are unsure about your eligibility, AM Support Services can guide you through the process and help you submit the right information.
